City of Ottawa Installs 700th Kyocera Multifunctional

Starting with a fleet of about 350 copiers and 2,000 printers, the City of Ottawa sought the assistance of an independent consultant and adapted the principles of Gartner Consulting.  After a grueling contest where proof of capability was key, 4 Office beat out the industry’s largest corporations.  By adding 350 more Kyocera multifunctionals, the City staff were able to reduce their printer fleet by 1,600 units.  Although it will take another year to do a full evaluation, 4 Office expects the City to save in the order of 40% on overall previous hard copy costs.  4 Office was one of just four vendors who were approved to execute Managed Print Solutions Federally.
