The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board has recently optimized their internal print strategy to gain greater control of their fleet of devices and reduce waste as well as migrate and prioritize print jobs to more efficient devices. In addition, the solution will also help reduce the time and attention required from staff in managing and maintaining their devices by automating a variety of functions and tasks. Following the trend of other public sector and educational institutions in the province towards a more sustainable managed print strategy, the board is now employing PaperCut to help administer and manage a refreshed fleet of colour and mono devices in a way that is more cost effective and environmentally sustainable.
